Compressed air-powered pump.
It is suitable for transferring liquids containing impurities up to 2-3 mm in cases where an electric pump cannot be used.
The hydraulic components; impeller, feed screw and pump body in PBT allow use with water, emulsion and oily substances in general with viscosities not exceeding 21 cSt (3° Engel).
The temperature of the liquid must not exceed 70°C.
Applications
It is commonly used on:
- Machine tools (drills)
- Washing tankS
- Mixing
- Pouring
It is normally be installed on a tank with a capacity which is proportional to the flow rate, approximately 2-3 cm from the bottom. It is important to ensure that the maximum liquid level in the tank always remains 3-4 cm lower than the support flange.
In cases where the liquid is particularly dirty, it is advisable to construct the tank in compartments.
