They are suitable for the transfer of liquids containing impurities up to 3 mm in size. The hydraulic components: brass impeller and cast iron scroll, allow it to be used with water, emulsions, oily substances and liquids in general with a viscosity not exceeding 21 cSt (3 ° Engel). The liquid temperature must not exceed 90 ° C.
They should be used normally in cases where there is no space on the top of the tank.
They must be installed on the side of the tank to allow the liquid to enter the suction mouth directly (see figure). In cases where the liquid is particularly dirty, it is advisable to build the tank with compartments to allow the deposit of sludge before it can be fished out by the pump. To ensure a correct life of the pump, it must not be run dry, as the mechanical seal is not lubricated.
For different uses it is advisable to consult our Technical Department.
