Sacemi Gamar publishes first Sustainability Report 2025: reporting as a driver for innovation

The approval of the first Sustainability Report for the 2025 financial year marks a strategic milestone for Sacemi Gamar. As an industrial reality traditionally oriented towards efficiency and quality, the choice to voluntarily adopt the GRI Standards 2021 (Global Reporting Initiative) represents a firm commitment to transparently communicate the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impacts generated throughout the entire value chain.

In a global market increasingly attentive to corporate responsibility, this document is not merely a reporting act but a compass guiding future technological and organizational choices, consolidating the link between Italian manufacturing excellence and the challenges of the ecological transition.

Environment and energy transition: 2027 strategic goals

One of the fundamental pillars of Sacemi Gamar’s environmental strategy involves optimizing the energy mix and reducing the carbon footprint. During 2025, the company completed the installation of a second photovoltaic system on the roof of the Noventa di Piave plant, bringing the total installed capacity to 200 kWp.

This investment aims to cover 60% of the total electricity demand by 2027, ensuring almost total energy self-sufficiency during the summer periods. Consumption data confirms the effectiveness of this path: electricity withdrawal dropped from 212,662 GJ in 2023 to 165,299 GJ in 2025. This was achieved through the implementation of intelligent LED lighting systems and the progressive replacement of plant motors with high-efficiency IE4 models.

Another significant achievement in the "Planet" area is the total elimination of solvent-based paints, definitively replaced by two-component water-based paints. This process innovation has drastically reduced volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions and optimized the use of water resources through more efficient plant washing cycles.

The value of people: zero accidents and contractual stability

For Sacemi Gamar, sustainability is inseparable from the well-being of its people. With a workforce of 37 employees, the company boasts 100% permanent contracts, a choice that fosters the retention of internal know-how and the social stability of the local area.

The results in terms of occupational safety are excellent: in the 2025 financial year, the goal of zero accidents was achieved. This figure reflects the effectiveness of the Health and Safety Committee and constant investments in training. Beyond mandatory safety training, the company invested in organizational development paths with an ESG focus—totaling over 70 hours in 2025—to prepare the team for future technological and environmental challenges.

Attention to the individual also translates into concrete interventions in the company’s microclimate, such as the installation in December 2025 of a new air conditioning system in the production departments, designed to respond directly to the needs expressed by workers during internal consultation meetings.

Short supply chain and territory: the ItalyX Certification

Deeply rooted in the productive fabric of North-Eastern Italy, Sacemi Gamar has structured a supply chain based on proximity and mutual trust. 99% of suppliers are located within a 300 km radius of the headquarters, a choice that drastically reduces the environmental impact of transport and supports the local economy.

This supply chain reliability, combined with a production process entirely managed in Italy, allowed the company to obtain the ItalyX certification in 2025. Promoted by Il Sole 24 Ore, this certification attests to the authenticity and excellence of the "Made in Italy" brand.

Support for the local community extends beyond the industrial perimeter. In 2025, the company joined the WelfareCare project to offer free oncological screenings (mammographies and ultrasounds) to the population of Noventa di Piave, an initiative that took place in March 2026.

Towards 2026: continuous innovation

The 2025 Sustainability Report is not a destination but a data baseline for defining new objectives for 2026, which include:

  • The implementation of a digital energy management system for real-time consumption monitoring by department.
  • Support for social inclusion projects by sponsoring sports teams for people with disabilities.
  • The continuous evolution of products (electric pumps and motors) towards even higher energy efficiency standards to reduce indirect environmental impact for end customers.

With this first edition of the Report, Sacemi Gamar confirms that the energy moving its machines is the same energy fueling ideas and responsibility towards future generations.
